Turlock - A Historical Documentary winner of 4 awards | 01.10.10
 The 85 min. documentary filmed & produced by Michael Everett & Dustin Veneman has won awards at The Las Vegas International Film Festival, The Mammoth International Film Festival, The Sacramento International Film Festival and The Accolade International Film Festival. The film was edited and mixed in its entirety here at The Creation Lab and released by Creation Lab Pictures. Plans are in the making on our next film. We will keep you updated on the progress.

Christian Artist Search | 05.02.09
 The Creation Lab & KAMB hosted the first Christian Artist Search of its kind in the central valley this year. It was a 4-month long process that produced 10 finalists that performed at MVC in Turlock in May. The event concluded with Rashelle Garrett winning the first CAS. Grief - Thoughts & Reflections | 04.05.08
 Creation Lab Books is proud to release the new book by Michael & Danielle Everett entitled “Grief - Thoughts & Reflections”. The book gave from their reflections after the loss of their daughter Jessica to leukemia. The purpose of the book is to walk beside someone who is experiencing grief and provide some comfort by letting him or her know they are not alone.
The book includes a CD of the song “Wish You Would See Me Now” written by Michael Everett and was recorded and mixed at The Creation Lab.

Stanislaus County Idol Winner Christy Riley Cuts Tracks | 11.10.05
Christy Riley cut tracks for her upcoming project at Masterfonics (The Tracking Room) and Thelma's East in Nashville, TN November 10-11. Session players were Lonnie Wilson on drums, Mike Brignardello on bass, Tom Bukovac on electric guitar, Jeff Roach on Piano & B3, Dan Dougmore on steel guitar, Jason Roller on acoustic guitar and mandolin, Adam Hatley at the controls, Kevin Anderson as Chief Guru and Michael Everett producing. Vocal overdubs and mixing are underway here at The Creation Lab.

Sandy Smith began recording her new cd at The Lab on October 1, 2005. Sandy is a seasoned contemporary Christian artist who also writes her own material. Her basic tracks were cut with Jerry Adams on bass, James Cantrell on drums, Earl Pavao on acoustic guitar, Sandy Smith on acoustic guitar and vocals, Mark Davis on piano, Michael Everett producing and Matt Garman at the board.

Mark Davis came in from Colorado Springs, Co. on September 30, 2005 to record some piano for Sandy Smith's new cd and for some overdubs on Quimi's new project.
Mark is an exceptional session piano player who recorded a lot with Michael Everett in Nashville, Tn. when they both lived there. Mark has recently played with Margaret Becker, Kim Hill, Billy Sprague, Cheri Keaggy, Kelly Minter and Fletch Wiley. We look forward to having Mark back in record again.... Thanks again Mark.
Stanislaus County Idol Contestants in the Studio | 07.23.05
The 2005 Stanislaus County Fair Idol contestants were in the studio recording two songs that they will be using during fair week. The two songs the contestants recorded were "Hot, Hot, Hot and Conga". They did a great job considering it was the first time for many to record in a studio, plus singing Conga is a feat in its self... This years finalist are: Lisa Allred, Aubrey Ames, Nick Brown, Carley Burch, Kristen Chacon, Tammy Garcia, Andy Mendoza, Christy Riley, Zac Sahlstrom and JenaRae Wilkerson. This years alternates are: Maria Roberts, Yessy Mota, and Ariana Martinez...The Idol coordinator is Janine Runnels, assistant coordinator: Naomi Gonser, director of publicity: Pennie Rorex. The dance choreographer is Chris McPherson who has the contestants dancing like pros in less than a week. Chris is an execptional choreographer who works for Disney in LA.

Henry Kaiser Session | 05.29.05
Henry Kaiser and slide guitarist Scott Colby was in the studio May 29th with PegLeg producing an ususal surf song for the UK-based Cordelia Records. Pegleg consists of Henry Kaiser on guitars, Scott Colby on slide guitars, Allen Whitman on bass, and John Hanes on drums. Additional guitarists were Matt Swanson, Gary Brawer and Michael Everett.The compilation CD, which is slated for release in late summer 2005 is titled
"Beyond The Sea".
Henry Kaiser is widely recognized as one of the most creative and innovative guitarists, improvisers, and producers in the
fields of rock, jazz and experimental music. He has appeared on more than 175 albums with such artists as Herbie Hancock, Jerry Garcia, Richard Thompson, David Lindley and many more ... a special thanks to Matt Garman for his "ProTools expertise" on the mixdown of the project.

Quimi is a talented singer and songwriter who looks forward to the release of her first CD.
